Wildwood Archery Range Rules – 2026
Use of the archery range is subject to the same general rules that apply to the rifle and pistol ranges.
Archery equipment may only be discharged on the designated Archery Range.
All archers must sign the registration book prior to shooting. Red flag procedures apply: the flag must be raised before shooting begins, and the last archer leaving the range must lower the flag.
Firearms are strictly prohibited on the Archery Range.
No person may proceed forward of the shooting line until an “all clear” has been requested and acknowledged by all archers present.
The standard shooting distance is 45 yards. Shooting from the 20-, 30-, or 40-yard markers is permitted only by mutual and clearly communicated agreement among all archers.
When a cease-fire is requested to retrieve arrows or inspect targets, all bows must be safely racked before anyone goes downrange.
The range does not provide targets. Archers must supply their own high-density foam targets, typically a minimum of 20 inches by 20 inches, designed for archery use. All targets must be removed after use.
Backstops located above and between the shooting tables are not to be used for mounting targets; they are intended solely to prevent arrow loss.
Personal 3D targets may be used and placed in the open area between the two shooting tables.
Cease-fires on the rifle or pistol ranges do not apply to the Archery Range, and vice versa.
Broadhead arrows are not permitted.
