2025 Newsletter

First, thanks to all those who renewed their memberships and welcome to all the new members.  Our Club is an Alberta Wildlife Federation Affiliated Club.  The AWF (previously known as the Alberta Fish and Game Association) is a registered charity that has over 18,000 members and is the largest, oldest, fishing / hunting and conservation association in Alberta.  You may access their web site at www.afga.org to read about all the great things that AWF does for all Albertans.

GUN RANGE

The Range Certification is approved to December 31, 2025. It is important that all Range members follow the rules to help us keep our certification. Our Range is in great shape, thanks to the volunteers who help with the Range clean up and maintenance days.  It takes a lot of work to keep the range clean, and every member is encouraged to do their own cleanup and a little bit extra.  Please use the trash bins provided for shot shell hulls and used targets, we also have plastic pails in both ranges for used brass. Please pick up your garbage and remove your target after use. Brooms are provided for cleanup.

The Club will organize Sunday or Saturday afternoon Trap Shoots, look at our website for more information.

The cost for Trap Shoots is $5.00 per shooter for one round of 25 shots.
