The range will be closed September 18, 19, 20 , 21 and 22 for repair to the 300 yard backstop. Note this closure is for the entire facility and could vary in length due to weather and unforeseen problems. Check this site for updates.
Monthly General Meeting September 12, 2019
Monthly General Meeting: September 12, 2019 7:30 p.m. at the range clubhouse. Come early, bring your shotgun for a pre-meeting trap shoot at 6 p.m. Cost is $5.00 for a round of 25 clays.
No Metal Targets
The range is not certified for use of metal targets. Members are requested to use paper, wood or clay targets. Persons found using metal targets may have range privileges suspended.
Edson Reynolds Gun Range
Edson Reynolds Gun Range is located about 1.6 km east of Wildwood on highway 16, turn north Range Road 91, proceed 4 km north and turn east on Twp Rd 541A, about 800 meters east. The range entrance is located on the north side. Coordinates: N53 38.618 W115 11.625
The range has covered shooting benches, up to a 300 yard rifle range, a 50 yard small bore/ handgun range and a shotgun range. The range is certified by the Department of Justice Canada.
Stones Fish Pond
Stones Fish Pond is located 4 km west of Wildwood on highway 16, turn south on range road 95 and proceed about 1 km south, turn west on TWP 534, proceed about 1 km, the fish pond is on the north side. Coordinates: N53 36.049 W115 19.088
The fish pond produces rainbow trout to over 7 lbs. but most are smaller. The pond is stocked in the spring and fall by Alberta Sustainable Resource Development (SRD). Alberta fishing regulations apply to the pond but catch and release is encouraged. The pond is open to public fishing year round. A great place to bring the family.
